Wilsonville, OR – The Oregon Republican Party (ORP) released a digital ad today highlighting undercover video from Kate Brown’s former campaign manager exposing alleged “corruption” and “shady” dealings by her administration and campaign. Recent reports featured in Forbes Magazine and allegations made by her former campaign manager in the video published by Project Veritas Action claim that the governor violated ethics laws by using public funds for campaign purposes.

“We’ve already had one governor who resigned under a cloud of ethics scandals, and these allegations against Kate Brown are incredibly concerning,” said Oregon Republican Party Chair Bill Currier. “Did Kate Brown know her taxpayer-funded Governor’s Office Staff were running her campaign, which is illegal? Did she direct them to do so, which is also illegal?”
“The Oregon Republican Party is committed to shining a light on Kate Brown’s shady dealings, and voters deserve a full investigation into these troubling allegations.”
Yesterday, the Oregon Republican Party filed a complaint with the Oregon Government Ethics Commission (OGEC) over Governor Kate Brown’s use of public funds for campaign purposes. The complaint asks for the commission to review Kate Brown’s solicitation of contributions from government contractors and possible influence peddling.
The Oregon Republican Party is the state’s arm of the Republican National Committee. Its Chairman and officers are dedicated to promoting Republican principles within the state of Oregon and to improving the lives and livelihoods of Oregon’s working families through economic freedom and equal protection under the law.
